Santa Clarita Velo Club

The Santa Clarita Velo is a local bicycle club in the City of Santa Clarita with over 100 members. We are a nonprofit organization promoting bicycling and bicycle safety in our Valley.
As a racing club and member of USA Cycling (USAC), Santa Clarita Velo annually promotes two successful races: the Chuck Pontius Memorial Criterium in Valencia and the Punchbowl Road Race in Pear Blossom. We have successfully hosted these events for the last 14 consecutive years. The Chuck Pontius Criterium has been co-sponsored by the City of Santa Clarita since its inception and in 2007 nearly 500 racers participated.
Child & Family Center
The Child & Family Center provides quality mental health, behavioral and educational services for children and families in Santa Clarita since 1976. Proceeds from the Annual Santa Clarita Century Ride & Expo benefits the Child & Family Center.
