The Santa Clarita Century and Family Fun Ride is pleased to announce the addition of a 25-mile option to our event. Details can be found on our website.
Riders who are new to the sport, or perhaps new to group rides, may well want to look into this option.
Be sure to bring water and basic flat-fixing capabilities (as you should on all rides), but riders will have access to fluid and nutrition half-way into the ride.
What a way to spend your weekend morning!
Hyatt Regency Valencia is on board with a great discount!

The route and elevation chart for our half-century ride has just been posted. Check it out here.
The century route has been finalized. It’s similar to last year, but with the new starting & finishing locations, adds a calm, residential feel to it. Nice after a long day.
You can see the details on our website.
We’ve added a page to the website, detailing directions to the Valencia Town Center for those who don’t know where it is. There’s also a link to Google Maps, showing the location. Directions for parking are also listed.
Using active.com, we have opened up online registration! Yay!
Visit their website. Using your credit/debit card, you can register and reserve your place in the event!
Just added our ride to site listing services: BikeCal.com, and Bicycling.com (may take awhile to get it reviewed and posted). Our local Channel Islands Event List still has us from last year (thank you much) but they have us on the old date (February). We have an e-mail in to them. Hopefully it will change before too [...]
Although the registration process for SC2 is still being pulled together, the website pages have been created and dropped into place.
It’s only a matter of time, now!
Moved over the weather widget for Valencia from last year’s site. Placed it on the lower right-hand side. You’ll notice it.
The Century & Half-Century route pages have been moved over from our last site framework and are up and active.
The last part for this is to up-date the course maps: they are from last year and have the start/finish at the MetroLink station. Hopefully, we’ll update it soon with the new start location: Valencia Town [...]
